I got the e-diff light for a few minutes on the freeway last weekend. During the time it was on, I also got "CST Active" message that cut the power momentarily. After a few minutes all lights were out and back to normal. I'm going in next week to see what's up.

same here (MY '05) occured after driving in heavy rain. e-diff valve somehow got flooded and had to be replaced. BTW, this unsound e-diff had also infected my F1 which started acting strange (switching to N instead of shifting to next gear).
