E series boot lid registration plate light

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the registration plate light on an E Series Dino sits in a slight recess on the boot lid or does it just sit flush with the rest of the lip?

I think there is on the lower horizontal edge

 

It sits flush to the body. There is not a recess.

There is a recess Shawn. It is shown on Tavola 108 in the parts book.
