    I am getting an E6 after about 30 seconds of power up. Then a few seconds later it switches to E5 and E5 stays on the display. I have changed out the plastic valve on the heater control motor as My348 suggests, and replaced the flapper motor. The Heater control valve is working as it should and cycles back and forth. The flapper is working (it wasn't) and I checked and the air flow shifts from the floor to the upper air flow just like it should when I press the button. I don't see anything wrong. Any ideas what might be causing these errors?

    Before getting too deep into it, have you tried just unplugging the wire connector from the back of the climate control panel for a minute or two, then plugging it back in again? May be hard to believe, but it might be worth trying.

    When I first got my car I had similar errors that went away and never come back after cleaning the plugs contacts behind the panel ... Try ... what you got to lose ?
