    Anyone familiar with this program?

Went to an airshow this weekend, and they had signups for this group. Includes a free flight for your kid (ages 8-17), and is supposed to be an organization that encourages the learning of flying.

My son is interested (he wants to be a pilot when he grows up), and it sounds like a great program. Almost sounds like it is too good to be true, but it seems from their website that they have a lot of support and have been doing it for a long time.

I think we are going to sign him up.

Would be interested to know if anyone has had kids that have gone through the program and what they thought?

    Thanks!

Ive flown kids for this program and it is everything its says it is. Its a simple way of getting kids into aviation. Look into EAA as a whole they are a great organization who really seem to care about the aviation program as a whole. All I can say is do it. I did an early flight (14 years old and not Young eagles) and was hooked there and now im teaching how to fly so it works.
