While the increase seems suspect, the rest doesn't. Never underestimate how many people live vicariously through youtubers. EAG whored the Scud out to any youtuber who would drive it. You can tell that their following is mostly the people from that crowd because pretty much all of the comments on the recent posts are saying how Art is a ****ty driver.

I like the seller's response when they asked if ehe would support the conversion.

"I believe they are, but best to speak with them directly."

Have you unsuccessfully reached out recently? Simple text, call, email, or contact via the website works. Spoke to him today about having some shift-gates made.

As an aside, I often wonder if these low mileage cars are really a positive at such an age?

I would almost feel more comfortable with 1k a year on it. Am I crazy for thinking that?

That dealer paid $220K at BJ in Scottsdale.

I didn’t see if that was inclusive of fees too.

Should be interesting vs the sept no sale high at 193

Not necessarily for a design that isn’t theirs (EAG). They would much rather sell a re-conversion (trademark pending) with their “superior quality” parts.

Let’s face it, a defunct company will acquire a poor reputation naturally (winners write the history books).

At least one of the other conversion companies will sell you individual parts if needed. You can use that analogy on OEM cars as well btw and those parts are really scarce.

Yeah, I’m aware they have a cult following and most of the buyers won’t put any miles on them either, so maybe it doesn’t matter in the end.

If the purpose was to drive it, I don’t think it would be smart, or at least that’s what I’m trying to conclude. You can fix all the paint and keep it detailed all you want, but the internals and fluids need to have some movement over that time period as far as I understand. What say others?

Stick to bad and ugly, ttforcefed. Good, aka pumping is "vietato."
BTW, about to hit 10k miles on my EAG conversion!
Low mileage lovers are fine, but my 599 gets great SPM (smiles per mile).

Nice! My scud has 14k miles on the conversion and almost 25k on the car. My 430 has 3k on the conversion and i think almost 23k on the car.

There will be an announcement this week on how this will be handled. Short answer.... yes parts are available, Yes individual parts are available, Yes the product will be supported and continue forward. The architecture of the company has changed permanently. It will be administered through the key players that made this past year the most efficient and effective year of the previous companies history.

Historically and some current evidence for conversions.

Stock Manual > Stock F1 > Converted Manual

Some of it the used market doesn't like any modified Ferraris, this goes back to turbos and body kits too, exhausts about the only thing the market accepts. Some of it usually the donor cars for conversions were not the best Stock F1's to begin with.

So maybe a perfectly converted manual from a donor that was a perfect F1 might have an OK market, but there aren't many of them.

You’re referring to conversions in general. And that’s an another discussion.

certainly the early days of the market and even today. however, there are more and more conversions, more and more bad stories, more and more smart buyers.

what is past and present is trending different for the future. that gap has tightened SIGNIFICANTLY with some conversions selling below F1's.

I have bringatrailer up on my screen and of the 5 cheapest 360s run through the past 2 years, every single one is F1. On cars.com there are 7 F1s cheaper than the converted car which has almost 60k miles and is grey on grey.

What evidence are you referring to?
