So, what the heck WOULD be a "generic" name for these things???? I actually have two new ones, and one has a tag: With a prancing horse and a logo, hand written.. Dis. ____104550 Den.____Ghiera zig(or q??)e. M6 x 1 N. ______N 100 I can only imagine 100 of these darn things, in the original Parts bag!! I need two more, (four required) and I was hoping with the proper name I could find them at McMaster Carr or somewhere? I have littered the face of the planet with them, before I learned they MUST have a rubber base gasket to avoid spinning off, (faucet washer!!) and I have even started to epoxy the threads of the stud with a dollop, and then paint it all black, once it sets. I know the early ones on my cars seemed to be brass, but the later ones are bright chromium sliver plated. More arcane knowledge....HELP!!!! Of course, metric Nylock hex nuts put the whole issue to bed also, but I have these TWO I hand!!
/end thread Metric round knurled nuts. On ebay in groovy anodized colors (aluminum) from Broken Arrow OK in sets of four! But I will call: JW Winco 800-877-8351 #DIN467 class of product shows a #467-M6-N1 in stainless steel, at like $1.81, or something like that!! McMaster Carr does show them as well. The End
I have 3 originals in a bag for my 75 Gt4 I bought 4 more from Gtcarparts in 2016 when I was in Glendale. They are metal colored. Just added a rubber washer and metal washer to resist loosening. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I just googled the generic "metric knurled wheel nut" and that was the cheapest one to come up! Yep! That's them!! And the rubber washer is the trick to dampen vibration....
