    Hi!

Long time reader and lurker but have not had much reason to post, but now something has come up that that maybe some of you can help me wtih.

Around 10 years ago I saw an ad for a yellow plexi F40, I loved it saved the pictures etc.
Fast forward 10 years and all of the sudden I started wondering what had happened to the car, so I started searching the internet but could not find much, untill I found an archived page of the original ad from 2005. Unfortunately the actual ad isn't archived, just the preview, it reads:

    Ferrari F40 Plexi SOLD
The vehicle (Chassis 758300) is reported as being the 10th F40 ever built, and factory delivered to the most important French Ferrari customer of this period, the late Jean Béqué. In perfect condition, fully documented with its complete set of tools ... [ more ]
    Year: 1988
    Mileage: 23,000km
    Location: Europe

I seem to remember the ad saying that Mr. Béqué was a friend of Enzo and that's the reason he got such an early F40. Also it had a tubi exhaust, which according to the ad was installed at the factory and the ECU was modified by the factory to maximise the power gains from the ECU (probably BS?)

So… does anyone have any information about this car?

    Many thanks!
