The first Saturday of the month was, as usual, time for the "Caffeine & Octane" breakfast show at The Avenue East Cobb. Again, the weather was clear but chilly, which resulted in the cars coming a bit later than usual, but as you will see there was still some interesting stuff.

The '42 Pontiac fastback in the third pic was a standout, and I liked the British foursome in the next photo: Lotus, Triumph, Austin-Healey and MG all represented!

wow, I'm sorry I missed it. I figured I should only drag the girlfriend to one car event each month. FOA open house took the cake.

And, finally, a shot for a few of you who've been bugging me about this. I used the old Canon to take a photo of its successor, a Digital Rebel XTi. I've been "beta testing" the new piece, while waiting for a chance to hook up my new computer, which will have a handy card reader (and USB port) in front for easy uploading. For the time being I can only view the new camera's images on its LCD screen!

Congrats Jim!!! A new stage in your life has come. A digital!! I wish I could have made it to this show, but I wasn't aware of the date. Maybe the next one.

Hey Jim, congrats on moving to a digital but I am going to miss the 'look' that your old camera gave everything. Some of the shots look great because they have the old look to them.

Funny thing, I've been using the Rebel mostly in its "point & shoot" mode, where it automates everything, even the ISO setting. And the shots look great on the LCD screen on the back of the camera! It remains to be seen how they look full size--that won't happen until after the holidays.

Hey New to this board, but I would like to make it to one of the get togethers.
I could bring the M3, or the Mini.
    thanks for sharing the pics!
