Is anyone interested to escape the Easter bunny mania and meet up in Vallée de Joux on Saturday morning or Sunday morning (depending on the weather) ?
I'd suggest meeting somewhere by the lake at around 8:30-9:00am (to avoid traffic) and have a coffee/tea.
This is about equal distance from Lausanne & Geneva (60km).

    Anyone in ? Christophe ? Didier ? Dimitri ? Frank ? Gougoul ?

    Hi Shark,

    That's a very good idea.

As I will be down in Geneva during this long WE, I was planning to take my dear Ferrari out for ... the first trip of the year! So why not doing a tour to Lac de Joux. As you said, weather conditions gonna be the main criteria !

I know that Omar (Tbig1) will be in Vevey area during this WE. So he may also join us.

These days I'm rarely spending time on the forum. I therefore would rather consider a follow-up via SMS. I think that you already have my GSM number, isn't?

    Hi gougoul,

At least there is another Ferrari chatter from Geneva!! I hope that we gonna have a chance to meet.

    Bye,
    Christophe.

    Hello Christophe,
Weather forecast currently makes Saturday morning the best bet. Was not planning on a monster drive, but I have a pair of rear Expedias on the 355 to finish up before they get changed for DMV inspection so ...
I'll confirm via GSM/SMS on Friday.
    Take care, JC

Weatherman has changed his mind, now Friday afternoon is all clear and Saturday morning rainy. Let's decide if/when we go before noon.

A gorgeous afternoon, the twisty roads of ze Gros-de-Vaud, and two pretty V8s howling in the country side ...
Christophe, what on earth were you doing tasting booze in the Jura ???

    indeed.
I just want more ! These roads are quite incredible, thanks so much for the guidance.
So, 15 minutes or so from Lausanne, we got a perfect target for a 2-hours-max round trip with all necessary twisty bits. And even our near-bald rear tyres can do for that !

Was nice to stay behind your pipes, ZeShark, even different (but as loud as the 550's) ones.
Yfc : just a pity we couldn't join forces. This has to be reproduced asap.

    I can't resist,

here a little extract from our concerto for V8s, tired tyres and dry asphalt... Gorgeous, isn't it ? I'll put it as ringtone for my phone :).

Pity I have no clue how to put a video on the web, I would have some material there !

We decide to convert this fabulous Friday into a double event : First drive of the year with the Ferrari (330km) and wine gathering as the cellar became a bit empty! :(

The wheater was just ... perfect. We got a clear depth blue sky as we where "clibimg" the Jura from Nyon. Whoahhhhhh A perfect day to bring the beast out.

Yep Shark, we went for wine tasting : Macle - Chateau-Chalon and Labbet - Rotalier. They are just (from my standpoint) the two king of the region.

Luckyly we manage to bring enough wine back in the 355 :D Surprisingly the booze helped on those Jura twisty roads. :D

It's a pitty that I could not join you yesterday. Next time.

The wheaterman is effectively not that predictible. This morning was still suppose to be partialy clear. But now it's already raining in GVA.

    Have a resting rainy saturday.

    Christophe.

With pleasure Franck! I got plenty of good address : classical Jura tasking wines, or more Burgundy's style. Everything is available my friend. Just ask for. :D

See you soon for a ride,

    Christophe.

In total 24 bottles. Just enough to fully load the "EuroCave".

See you soon ... but apparently not this WE.

He he if you're asking ... I don't need to be pushed twice :)

Actually I'm preparing a short videoclip, and with a bit of help of ZeShark I hope I can share it with you guys (provided ZeShark himself is ok with that - and the number plates etc don't appear).

I have on already, done with a duo of f-cars + one dodge viper.
