The white leather on the sport seats and rear shelf doesn't look factory to me, but I could be wrong. I'd have to see the original window sticker to know for sure. The rear shelf is normally sewn in the diamond pattern like shown on the interior ceiling cover. A matching tan leather for the seats and rear shelf would have been better IMHO. The TDF color, wheels, and red calipers are a nice combo.
I'm so sick of reading about it, I feel like I've already owned it twice and still wake up dreaming bad dreams.
Yes, take a look at these: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=178650 or http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=199379
It seems like the price is still moving in the right direction. Sooner or later, someone is going to buy this car (along with the stories)...
If its relisted once more or if another thread is started, I say we pool up and buy it so we never have to hear about it again. I would be inclined to agree with Darth, they wholesale it but I suspect they have too much into it and are going to ride it out waiting for the sucker, I mean novice. -dsd
I defer to those who have actually seen the car, but except for the seats and shelf, the car looks great in pictures. I understand the paint looks better on ebay than it does in person. How much to recover the seats and shelf to match the rest of the interior? $5K tops? Unless there is real structural damage, $10K in cosmetics would turn it into a nice driver.
True, that interior is rough on the eyes. Looks like one big melted candy bar. Can't speak to all the rumors about this car, but anything that sits for this long has got to raise questions... This 575 has been passed around like an hors d'ouervres tray. Yikes... ketel
