The auction is not for a car, it is a phishing expedition. Pre approved bidders list is the give away here. Sorry, not a deal. Maybe tell the seller that you represent a wealthy Somalian that agrees to his price and will include the shipping in the sales price. To make sure the deal is good you will need him to send you some sort of deposit. BT
Sellers are in different cities yet use the same pictures and description. One seller with ZERO feedback the other with 18. Bidders where it went to 42K probably the guys relatives or employees and the reserve was intentionally high reserve to avoid paying big fees to eBay. The other seller doesn't have a car. Both auctions are bogus. You need to quit expecting a bargain. 308's go between 20 and 30k...exceptions mean very exceptional condition - both ways.
You probably meant "Ya'll need to..." In this case I think it was pretty obvious that this was a scam of some sort. But then, I always liked this one; "urban legends - cars : Selling the Car A man runs off with a little cutie and sends his wife a Dear Jane letter telling him he's not coming back and he wants a divorce. He tells his wife to sell his Porsche and send him half the proceeds. She runs an ad "Porsche for Sale, $20" and sends him his check for $10." http://www.warphead.com/modules/news/index.php?storytopic=0&start=340
