hmm, i think i went to see this car when it was for sale back in november. can't be 100% sure but the one i went to see had same or very close miles, same black/cream combo, major done in may, similar description of the tears made by the targa top.

the only problem it had that i could tell was the clutch needed replacing. the interior was a bit dirty as well. it also had trouble idling for more than a few minutes at a time.

i'm not trying to **** on the car, just what i encountered when i went to see it. this may not even be the same car, since i never checked the SN.

There was a guy who setup a thread about a 328 to stay way from in VA. I tried to do a search to find the thread and could not find it.

If I were looking for a used Ferrari (I own one), Ebay would not be the place!
I bought my 360 a year ago from a reputable dealer after I talked with the original owner in-person. I know more about this person (all good) than he thinks I do. I also looked at others with fewer miles (not always a good thing). Result. The car has been magnificent. No disappointments and no hassles from the dealer on maintenance or the lots of questions I always am asking.

There are lots of cars out there. Look for one that has been driven and serviced correctly. By-pass the "Garage Queens," and, most of all, don't get frustrated at how long it takes. WAIT FOR THE RIGHT ONE!!! Cheers.

Ebay is just an auction listing place. If you don't use it as a resource you could be missing out on a good deal. Ebay isn't bad......... some of the listers are. As with any place else, you have to do your homework. If you see a what your looking for on ebay, you can go view it before bidding or ask the seller to allow you to get a PPI before agreeing to purchase. It is just another resource.

collector car trader.com was an excellent resource for me.... plenty of cars, plenty of deals....

Ebay is great for some things. Just have your eyes open about what you purchase. There have been plenty of scams called out on this forum about people selling Ferraris and Ferrari-related stuff.
