Interesting, besides the VERY low stated price and the weird high bidder, it doesnt appear to have the "typical" scam items 1) Restricted bidder list, 2) Very Low Buy it now 3) saying things like "Deposit needed immediately". I havent read the ebay ad, so maybe some of that is in there.

I too assume its a scam, scammers are getting wise to the "tip offs" that we notice and trying other things.

lol - I reckon it's someone scamming the scammer. Buying the car with no intention of paying from an obvious scammer. Excellent.

yeah, I noticed that. It brings up a warning in AOL about "Text files not supported" then opens an email with mailto set at " patrickknapp1965 @ gmail . com "

It also looks like it was relisted, no bids. Either cancelled or relisted.

Oh, and it does say "Buy it now @ 11.9" but not listed as a "Buy it now price".

That picture was from a year ago. The car belonged to the guy I bought my Mondial from. It was sold about 6-8 mos. ago to a guy in Illinois and then I saw that he had listed it on e-bay a few mos. back. Kinda funny as long as no one gets hooked.

yes, because phu** you in the a**, or another vigilante bidder could stop the auction by clicking the buy it now button. I have seen auctions intentinally stopped when someone bids a million dollars also.
