How do you go about getting a PPI when buying a car on eBay? Often there are only a few days before the auction ends and you have to pay in full a few days afterwards. How can you arrange an inspection in such a short time?

If you win the auction and the PPI reveals serious problems and you don't wish to complete the purchase, what happens?

If you find out the car has been misrepresented you are free to cancel the agreement to purchase, the vendor really shouldnt have a problem with that if the PPI came up with a list of major issues........if the PPI comes up with a list of relativley minor issues you can always come to an agreement with the vendor......it's always worth bearing in mind these cars are at least 20 years old so a decent PPI will turn up a small list of things to do even on a great car, for example I did a PPI on a nice Dino 246 recently and ended up with 2 sides of A4 of minor jobs to do in the event of purchase
