Shame - had they been $20 less I'd buy 'em and corner the market in unwanted, overpriced (but really pretty) ferrari wheels !

I have considered buying a set but they always appear over priced when I think of putting a set of tires on them.

I'll sell you a set for $2,000. That is over 30% less than this Ebay seller.

Wow - it's nice to know that forum members are so genuine and would in no way rip of a kindred spirit.

Do I have some time to consider your kind and generous offer ?

    You are most welcome!
Of course you have a bit of time to consider this. Take an hour or 2 but please be aware these are very rare and won't last long :D

Holy crap! I'm embarrassed to admit I never thought of that. One of those would make a very cool hose reel in the shop.

Normally I keep it in the city but here it is up at the ranch a couple of year ago. There is a water outlet right next to it. And come to think of it I have my set of TRX wheels up in the loft of the barn there at the ranch. Perfect!

I finally found an excellent way to utilize my old metric wheels. I had all 4 polished and clear coated. I had new valve stems installed along with Ferrari stem caps, plus I included the original wheel centers as well. I then went to my local custom wheel dealer and got 4 carboard wheel boxes.I also got the protective poly bags that new wheels come in. I put each wheel in a bag, then sealed it in a wheel box.

Now you ask what the hell did he do that for????? Well boys I'll tell ya, I have 4 very good old car collector buddies and each one got a wheel for Christmas. There was a nice note included telling them that these would be the best exotic hose hangers they could have in their car barns. They were impressed and happy to have a real Ferrari object-d'-art in their car barn that was actually usueful. Every one has attatched his wheel to the wall where their hose now hangs. These wheels are in my catagory of too good to throw away and not good enough to take up storage space.
