Did anybody else see on ebay yesterday 2 ferraris combined for under 20,000.00 There was a red 2000 550 barchetta and a 1999 360 coupe
The barchetta was 10,000.00 and the 360 was 9500.00 Both were avaliable for free shipping. In a matter of minutes they were taken off and ebay had put a note that someone had intercepted that sellers info and posted those cars for sale, just another reason to defintley watch out for sellers on ebay.
The guy had an email address atn the bottom of the page
It was [email protected] becareful of the scam.
Just would like to give everybody a heads up and a laugh.

Yes - I saw that too. I have also been looking at the corvettes section alot and there were some hijacks there too. They are so obvious but I guess people fall for it or they would not keep trying. Just like the Nigerian scam.

I got an email today from someone pretending to be in Germany. He was offering me a '64 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso for $20K! The story was that he imported it from the U.S., but it was going to be so difficult to get it registered in Germany, he wanted to just ship it back to the the U.S. and take a loss. The background in the pictures looked strangely familiar, so I pulled up fantasyjunction.com and sure enough, the car is listed there for $325K!

If the price doesn't red-flag you...you can tell because they are usually private listings.

It drives me crazy that ebay doesn't have an easily available button to flag posts like this.

I'm not sure if the rest of you receive nearly as much spam as I do, but I get ebay phishing emails all day. These are the emails that act like they're from ebay requiring your login info....you can always tell those are fake first off because they don't have your username and secondly, the entire body of the email is actually an image not just text.

    Bottom line, BEWARE online!
