Do NOT buy from RCClee on eBay. He has a history of fabricating mailing issues to get refunds or not pay out completely. My experience on eBay and here on Ferrari Chat. He may go by different names.

He made a whole $50.00 purchase of some old Ferrari stickers I had. Then he wanted to buy all that had left. I sent a simple USPS envelope to his address. He said he never received them and wanted five more stickers. That's his way of getting what he wanted originally. I did not get a signature request for a domestic envelope, I didn't think would need to. I did refund him the $50.00. Not worth my time. One can feel a scammer.

Ironically, he knew the dimensions of my sticker, even the thickness. Hmmmm.

Copy/paste the image of what he is selling into Google. He knows how to work the mailing systems in his favor. San Jose address and San Francisco.

Never ship anything without tracking and quite frankly with the way the mail has been it's entirely possible he just never received them, there is no accountability for mail without tracking.

Actually you don't need that, eBay is fine with just straight tracking showing delivered. They're even okay if it's returned to sender, you're not obligated to refund. Just has to show you shipped it.

I've purchased about $20,000 in Ferrari memorabilia from RCClee on eBay and didn't have any issues.

You were lucky. You must have used a good tracking/insurance provider. If one does not, he will find a loophole and then the excuses fly.

I don't remember. I just remember it was done outside of ebay so I guess that was risky. Also, my purchases were back in 2018.

It is possible that he really didn't receive the letter. Here in Massachusetts the last several months has seen 3 Letter Carriers robbed at gun point of their mail box keys. The thieves are literally emptying the deposit mail boxes so the mail doesn't even get to the Post Office. In other cases they simply break into the mail boxes. It happened recently in my hometown.

Here's part of the article and the link -

Mailboxes were broken into at two Massachusetts post offices Sunday night and the thief or thieves managed to escape officers chasing after them twice, police said.

They're warning anyone who dropped off a check at the Weston post office in Colpitts Road between Friday afternoon and Sunday night to consider it stolen and likely used in a forgery.

"We strongly urge you to cancel these checks and notify your bank immediately. We would further recommend never using outside mail drop boxes, as this crime is occurring constantly all over our area," Weston police said in a Facebook post. "We have unfortunately been fielding these types of fraud reports from victims almost daily."
