Searched the forum and can't even find a record of the ideas put together for some EC racing school days in May. Anyone up for this still? Pchop and Jane were in from what I remember - I don't remember if anyone else confirmed. End of January was the deadline I remember hearing.

I'd still be up for it if there are some others of us there.

Noto did a lot of work on this. Were you in for it?

    Anyone know anything?

    Lime Rock is weakkkkk...

    Watkins Glen baby!!!

C'mon people, this track is a car nut's Disney Land! Much safer, longer, better video possibilties, than Pocono or Lime Rock. There's so many elevation changes compared to Limerock's 2 and Pocono quasi 2.

Unless of course you guys are going to see Skip... Then I'll shaddup :(

Do you guys wanna do an actual school school or lapping with instructors?

I have never been at Lime Rock or Pocono but have been to Watkins Glen several times. I know CC tracks there car there as well as other tracks. I had my first experience there on " Kids Day " this is a day where they bring kids out from this camp and people take them for rides around the track. I took advantage of this opportunity because they allowed you to drive your own car on the track and do a few hot laps as well. I fell in love with the track and then did three track days last year as well with an instructor in my car. the track itself is almost three miles long and like Roger said there are many elevation changes as well as twisties.

Here are some video clips from the track

I love that track at Watkins Glen...but the Skip Barber 3 day Racing School in our area is only offered at Lime Rock.

May 2-5 is the date that Jane and I are signed up for.

Right - I was asking about the Skip Barber course.

I tried to find the thread where the deal for May 2-5 was all mapped out, but my searches are coming up empty.

Are you and Jane still the only ones signed up then, pchop?

If we all sign up together can we get some kind of group discount? I want to do Skip Barber but want to get the discount - they were offering one this summer at Ferrari Days at Lime Rock, for example.

Let me know - if we can get a good price, I'm in.
