    I'm looking at one of these to help with gauge visibility as it raises the wheel ~12mm. I am aware that it also sets the steering wheel ~16mm rearward. Does anyone out there have a good or bad experience with one?

    I've had one in my 328 for several years. I think it's a massive improvement. Not so much for improving the view of the gauges but for keeping my fingers from catching on the instrument binnacle behind the wheel while steering.
