Tubi advertise an exhaust; but I have seen nothing more than that at this point.

Look forward to hearing your opinion on the Tubi, i do think the GT needs a bit more sound.

Just had tubi installed yesterday. will try to post some pix and sound clip here very soon.

On a serious note, those that enjoy their audio in their GT, you will not have the chance to enjoy it anymore.. haha. With Tubi, low rpm 2-2.5k mark very nosiy in the cabin. Very bassy sound produce within the cabin, can feel the cabin vibrating. If u hv opt for Bose audio system like me, sell it. hahahah.

Smoother throttle response and changing gear can be instantly felt with tubi. Chicks from 3 blocks away will hear u coming with tubi too. so with the extra noise in the cabin, wat the hack, live with it for me.

i m monitoring the fuel consumption now with tubi on. was clocking 17.2L/100km on an average. today see 20.2L/100km, nearly fainted.

That's what I feared the Tubi result would be I am afraid. My car is staying standard.

I'm interested in the DMS upgrade and asked another UK based user on ************ what his experience of the Tubi exhaust and DMS chip upgrade has been since fitting them to his GranTurismo. He emailed me as follows:

    "Hello,

I was not 100% happy when I got my GT .. it was a bit like driving a German car at first, very smooth and quiet. It felt like the engine was not giving 100% - same engine as my old gransport which was so lively yet dull in the GT !!
The upgrade has helped a great deal giving the engine more freedom, more revs and torque. I think what's really aided are the new back boxes which allows the engine to breath more and the gear change from 1st to 2nd now sounds like a Spitfire!!

The upgrade on the software was £1200 +vat (should be £1400 + vat). Have a word with Mike Cooper from DMS he can fill you in on the finer details of the upgrade. Now I enjoy driving my GT. It sounds like a Maserati and revs like one !!

    Good luck with your car."

    Jonathan,

Going to see how I get on with it in standard tune for a month or two then decide. Just had a call to say it's gone to status 60 which means it has been handed over to the transport company for delivery. Fingers crossed it'll be here by Friday.
