Working to resolve P1125 on my 360. Tried to reset ECUs with my scanner. Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) for Bank 1 resets to ~ zero. Bank 2 LTFT resets to 8.6 Before reset LTFT Bank 2 ranges from ~ 15 to 18. Have repeated this several times; always the same result. The shop executed reset with a Leonardo; same result. Upon restart, you can guess that a full reset has not occurred because the idle is only slightly rougher than normal, as opposed to sounding like it’s barely running. Thinking of swapping ECUs, side-to-side, but thought I’d see if anyone else has had something similar. Thanks.
Thanks for your response. They are supposed to try a power off reset Monday. Note that Bank 1 resets with no problems, and Bank 2 LTFT resets, but doesn’t zero.
The battery reset should wipe it out Then a 10 min idle at operating temperature with stabilize the trims ..unless you have an issue ..e.g vacuum leaks, MAF , upstream 02 sensors etc
If your lucky your ECUs haven't been put into someone else car before or one swapped out from a breaker at some point. In this case you should be able to swap the LHS with the RHS. At this point your CEL of P1125, LR adaption, additive should be P1124 if the ECU is bad. If it continues to be P1125 then you have an actual problem, all the common things. So a gasket leak allowing the mixture to be lean that's seen by the primary O2 sensors and the ECU is trying to compensate but it's too much beyond acceptable so you get the CEL.
Sorry I meant P1123 should be the opposing side code for P1125. Sorry for confusion, I need a coffee ☕ haha
