Does any have a good source for repairing ECUs and TCUs?

The transmission on my 360CS started acting up after a track day, with extremely high RPM before engaging, poor shifting, and slips between shifts. SD2 gave a 100% wear on the clutch (quite sudden wear since it was prior reading showed only 6%, but disc thickness was past acceptable..) and speed sensor error. We proceeded with replacing the clutch, flywheel TO, sensors etc...but the car still acts up in the same manner now giving a CAN error. After much diagnosis time the technicians believe on of the speed sensor wire shorted and caused the TCU to now mess up :( They switched TCU with a normal 360 and the car shifted ok... Before I spend more hard earned cash on a fresh TCU I want to see if there is a repair route for this costly electronic part, any suggestions would be welcomed.

You might try the following group: www.ecu.de. Email is [email protected]. They are on Facebook and they speak good english. Even though F-cars are not listed try them anyway. If they refuse ask them if they know anybody that could check out your device.
