The listing info is pretty sparse.......

i guess you are supposed to buy it based only on EVH ownership with no maintenance commentary. Paint was “as expected” in the video link I shared above.

I like the Sparco seats and the roll bar/half cage, they are indicative of EVH using the car properly.

I would think most folks (at least on this site) would purchase a better example which is properly maintained (documented) at a much more favorable price. Starting at 200k just because EVH sat in the seat would make no sense to me. I would much rather purchase from a Ferrari enthusiast who obviously cared for it. That said, he used as a race car so condition is what it is, nice to see it used to his enjoyment. RIP EVH.

I would go for it if I could spare the scratch, just for sentimental reasons. I saw a pic of Eddie with that car in a full racing suit.

I think the thing is the crazy levels of money right now chasing cars on BaT with no PPI, no cares in the world really so with the silly money being thrown around over there I can’t imagine the EVH 550 being any different.

Does something like this increase value down the road?

Depends on the cult following of a celebrity. If Steve McQueen owned anything its worth a fortune. Its a novelty really without much of a tangible value. I would avoid some cars if I knew certain celebs owned them whilst others will pay a premium. I agree above that a lot of celebs don't care about their cars since they swap them so frequently. I had a Porsche that when I went to register it found it was owned by Eddie Bravo, didn't add any value but was kind of fun to find
