I noticed in his text he says "In my opinion the 348 is the next Ferrari to appreciate in value." Hmmmm. He wouldn't have that opinion because he's trying to sell the car, now would he? Is this guy an investment advisor, a car dealer, a crook, both, or neither?
a) investment advisor-well, with a name like "Schmidt" which rymes with "----" I seriously doubt it. However, he would prefer you invest in his sale. b) a car dealer- well, he does try to sell acrs. So, maybe something there. c) a crook- Dick Nixon was the last crook. So, this title has been taken. d) neither- very doubtful When times are tough everyone has a gimmick just like the real estate folks now convincing average joes to buy foreclosures especially the ones they have listed! If anyone thinks investing in a 10 year old car series is an investment, I would love to talk with them. I have a deal for them!
a 430. buy it at list flip it for 250k for a coupe and a spider for 300k or more. i would consider that an investment ferrari. net some decent profit.
Too funny man, you are right! Investment Ferrari is definately what you call the f-car one is selling !!
This is the same guy who told me that I didn't know sh*t, and then hung up on me when I implied that the 30K service was due (last was 15K in '01). He also told me that he is close personal friends with Enzo Ferrari himself! So maybe he has the inside track of the investment potential from "the man upstairs".... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118373 Spence
