    Security for what ?
Preventing other show attendees stealing your ashtray, lighter, shifter knob, etc or do other interior damage while inside your unattended, but open/unlocked car ?

I have one on my 328.
More designed for when you store the car somewhere, such as a warehouse or storage facility.

John, I see from your center console that you had A/C in this car.
Do you have the parts, or still on the car?

    Regards, Alberto

I have history from day 1 and there is no indication of aircon ever having been fitted, though I wish it had - driving in Italy last summer in 30C+ temperatures, I would have given a king's ransom for it!

I have one for each of the 328s also, I usually disconnect the ground strap (the big red connector) in the nose of the 328 also if leaving the car for more than a few minutes.

I lost air box nuts off my 308 at a show once. I left the engine open unattended for an hour, came back two nuts were gone.

Top piece of kit....... I use one at shows and when parked in town. Also fits 308/328 as mentioned.

I believe you John, yet, there are two indentations on the console for the rotary switches, and the upturn
on the console, suggests it is for AC cars. Otherwise it would be flat.
