What's wrong with these people? http://www.cnn.com/2005/HEALTH/parenting/10/12/sixteen.kids.ap/index.html Friends of yours, Arlie?
Everybody needs a hobby I guess. There was a TV special on Discovery or TLC called something like "14 kids and pregnant again". When they go in somewhere all the kids look like a trail of ants.
It's about time these people got cable. At least being entertained wouldn't result in an extra mouth to feed. 16 children....unbelievable
I hear going into labor causes some women to orgasm. Maybe she is one of the lucky ones, and her hubby aint cutting it.
Maybe.. but he could probably stick most of his upper abdomen in there by now so I don't really blame him for not being able to handle Job #1.
The proud parents have a website: http://www.jimbob.info/ (theres some Evangelical Christian stuff on here so I guess that'd explain the 16 kids) Apparently that Discovery channel show is about them.
No. And I'm sure they wouldn't agree with my ideas about the situation. One simple question: Can the husband and wife support all those kids WITHOUT any outside financial help? I know plenty of single people who don't have enough money to fill their gas tank, much less the mouths of 16 kids. How can one guy support all those kids without some help? (I bet he didn't want any help when he was,....uh,....well,...you know.)
Anyone notice anything strange in this picture? http://www.supload.com/free/2002family__duggar.jpg/view/
The kid in the bottom left has a small pistol in his hands? (Something like a Walther PPK maybe.) He's obviously not "fiddling" around. OK, let's try another one. They're all holding fiddles and it's not even "bow" season?
As long as the kids are happy/okay then no problemo ... but I bet they will have small families themselves Imagine the petty sibling fights!!!! Pete
if the Lord wants to give us some she will accept them," he said if the Lord gave you kids it would be emaculate conception!!!! Unless they call the Pool Boy 'Lord" hmmmmmm Wait till the kids get 16-18 years in age........that would be interesting.......
I would expect this story to take place in Utah. The Mormons are into having really big families. Christmas has got to be expensive as hell and there probably buying birthday presents all the time. But as long as the kids are happy and theres no neglect its fine I guess.
I'm not the best at figuring out all the nuances of religious groups, but judging from the photo, it is the long hair of the girls that is the giveaway. I believe the Penecostal religion has some belief about the women not cutting their hair. There were 3 or 4 girls in my high school that had the long hair and long dresses that looked staight out of 1890. For further information, suggest Googling "snake handlers" for the more bizarre aspects.
