    If my first Italian car hadn't been a FIAT X1/9, I never would have complained about the 308's low speed steering, but the combination of a small wheel and relatively wide front tires is less than ideal. They made a ton of these cars, and I don't see any problem with doing this if you want to, so long as it's not a rare version or a super low mileage example. My '80 GTSi has over 50K miles, so I'm tempted to do this. Other mods too.

    I wonder if you're running too much castor? That will cause cornering load to increase with G forces

    I'm running maximum castor and that's my choice. I know why it loads up and I don't want to change it. Now I have the best of both worlds.
