    Gentlemen:
I find myself in need of electrical connectors. Specifically I need to go from an 8-pin female connector on the tail light wiring harness on my 512TR (see photos) to two four-pin connectors on the tail lights themselves (not a stock 512TR set-up). Anyone know where such things can be obtained? I could cut and splice the old 8-pin male connector from the original lights but I would rather leave this intact if possible. Thanks.

If you give me the info on your car and any #'s and markings on your 8 pin connector, I may be able to source that. All the info on the 8 pin connector will give me some info even if you think it's not necessary.

E-mail it to me to [email protected] as that will make it easier for me.

Did you change the T/L's? Give me all that info too.

There is a factory "Electrical Components" catalog that fortunately for you lists applications only for 512TR's and 348's. I can check the catalog to see if they list the 8-pin male connector, and I know there is a p/n for the 4 pin connector for the 355/360 tail lamp shown. The terminals for the wires can also be ordered. We do have some of those terminals and connectors in stock.
You can reach me at work at [email protected] or by phone at 800-638-1444.

    Thanks, Greg.

I will get all the numbers I can find and send them to you ASAP.
I am changing the look of the car from a 512TR rear to the more classic Ferrari 4 round taillights 512M look. I will post the whole conversion when I am finished.

Great talking to you just now. I suspect the 4 round tail light rear lamp set up will share wiring harnesses between models as you stated. Splicing together two used harnesses (a 512TR and a 512M or 355) would be easiest (and most likely not possible - we are dealing with Ferrari parts after all) and all I would have to do is figure out which wire activates the brake lights, turn signals, backup lights, etc). I look forward to hearing from you.

    Gentlemen:
My terminology may not have been entirely correct. The main wiring harness in my 1994 512TR is connected on each side to the tail lamp assembly through an 8-pin connector. The wiring harness side is a male connector with female (blade) terminals. I need the corresponding tail lamp assembly female connector with male (blade) terminals (see photos).

There are no identifying marks or numbers anywhere on either of these two white connectors.

The tail lamp assemblies I am installing are the typical Ferrari 4 round lights (PN 157513 through 157516) with each lamp assembly having a female connector with 4 male pin terminals. I need the corresponding male watertight connector with 4 female pin terminals to make a short jumper from the harness to the lamps so that all will function as planned.

I would rather not cut the original lamp assemblies to remove the connectors. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
