I keep getting the “electrical system failure- go to dealer” message on a number of occasions - immediately after I start my F12. Usually goes away if I shut the car off, lock the doors, unlock, and start over.
    Battery voltage is within specs.
    Anyone else having this issue?
    Thanks

ive had it in the past on my FF and it wld just go away - the manettino also wldnt work
last week I got the same message but the manettino worked and I was also getting "drivers side ventilation level 1" even when the air was off.

dealer replaced the battery and now everything is fine.

I have had various random errors on f12 start up. Go to dealer, mannetino inoperative, etc. Turn off and on again all fine. Italian software..... Battery always connected to a CTEK AGM charger.

Had the lights come up like a Christmas tree on my FF once but it went away after a restart. Scary when it first happens.

I'm not familiar with the F12 or FF, but on my 599 I get 'random stupidity' unless I follow this procedure: Turn the key to run. Wait until the 'Check' message goes out. Start the engine. Don't touch anything until the check engine light extinguishes. If I follow this, all goes well.

I got it several times usually after I turned the car off and started it again in a relatively short time, such as refilling gas ! The "Electrical system failure" icon was on the dashboard for the whole ride, but the car was fine... However, sometimes the air con totally lost control... The dealer said it's a voltage issues, the recharged the car for overnight, same thing still happens.

I too have had the “electrical system failure- go to dealer” message on my 2014 FF a couple of times immediately after a start on a cold day. It think that holding the start button down a little longer than a quick press may prevent this, but then what do I know.

I've had this on my 599 HGTE and still have this on my 599 GTO. Have mentioned this every time to my dealer but never went away. I get this on about 10% of the start ups on my GTO. Car always started and ran fine. Weird ...

I would get it on my BMW X5M but not the FF. :)

Have your dealer check her out but my money is on the battery. I had similar issues with the FF which is on its second battery. First started making crackling sounds in the radar detector on startup, second failed after a couple months, just was a junk battery. Current battery is just fine. The FF sat for a couple weeks with no problem too, no charger needed.
