First post here.... I came into possession of an '08 599. It has the manual day/night mirror and I was wondering if anyone here has had the electrochromic mirror added to their car and knew what it takes to do it. I have the electrochromic mirror now and I can tell that the mating parts are all the same but I would like to know if the wiring is already in the headliner for the mirror or if I need to come up with some wiring changes. Has anyone here done this and know what is necessary? BTW, I gave up an F430 Spyder and so far I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thanks, David
You have to check for the harness/plug in the headliner. Some will have in and some will not. I have some factory 599 mirrors in stock that I have removed during radar/laser installs. Let me know if you need one.
K-diddy Which laser detector system did you fit that meant you removed the interior mirror? The Cheetah mirror clips over the original mirror I was wondering if there is a system that replaces the mirror that way you don't end up with a 2" thick interior mirror set up Caspian
