I've searched..has anyone done this conversion? I have a 75 308 gt4 going from dual to single and was wondering how it's working? I believe the unit is built by 123distributor.nl. thanks!

    Hi Petey,
I have been in contact with them and is right now considering their system. So I have no experience from using their system in practice but from what they present it is really interesting. I have a spare distributor that I can send to them and they will convert it to their system for 1495 Euro. At the moment they are convering several Ferrari 250 distributors with their system.

    Text from their site: "
The 123Tune+ is the first fully programmable wireless ignition. Control your distributor with your iOS/Android smartphone or tablet. The App makes it possible to adjust the ignition curve and shows an electronic dashboard. Main features: Rev-counter, anti theft system by a PIN code, bluetooth 4.0, real time tuning, vacuum advance, boost retard, soft cut rev-limiter, etc."

Yes, this is interesting. If they make conversion for Ferrari 250 they kind of know what they are doing. I will get more info later this week, mainly photographs, and will post it here.
Good of you o bring it up Petey! Have you bought the system yourself now?

Yes sir! I'm rebuilding my GT4 ignition and it looked like this was the best solution. I went with the dinoparts version so it won't be "correct" but I'll hold onto my distributors if I ever want to go back. As much as I want to keep my car original- I absolutley love to drive it and ease of use (as much as that's possible with a 1975 car) is my main priority. I'm going to fire it up this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes!

I have been looking at that too. Is it the same system? Wasn't sure from the pictures. Please keep us posted. Love pictures!

Honestly I don't really like the system. I have seen a couple with issues and they mill out the distributor to get the 123 in there. So once converted your distributor is worthless and trash. I would lock the advance mechanism and use a programmable MSD6AL (with digital pickup). I would prefer that setup a thousand times over a 123 ignition

Ok, good to know. Can the MSD handle the advance curve as well? Price much lower on the MSD.

Yes it can handle the advance curve. It is a bit more complicated because there is no plug and play option (yet) for it and you'll need to hide the msd box somewhere.
It is a bit more complicated and a bit more work but in my opinion worth the extra time because you can always go back to original and the MSD is (just in my opinion) a better ignition system.

So I converted my US dual S159 setup to a single S127 euro to get a single advance and went with a crane optical trigger. I looked into other systems. Maybe I’m dumb, but I couldn’t put anything but a Magneti on my car. The quality is so much better. Look at a Euro S127 distributor cap and compare it to ANY modern cap. The modern ones are junk comparatively.
