    Are Varistor's (MOV: metal oxide varistor) directional? Do they need to be one way only. I am trying to put a circuit board together. I have the MOV's. They seem to have no markings to indicate one leg should be the one to go one way. Each leg is the same lenght. Are they like a resistor? Can go in either way?

    MOV's are not directional, it essentially is a resistor, and can be installed either way.
