Just another reverse-trike motorcycle. My guess is the company's designed to make more money from gov't green subsidies than actual sales.
Significantly more than that. Look at what you can get now. This thing is sweet looking. http://www.campagnamotors.com/products/v13r/the-experience/
Thats anything going green. Its not for the environment, its all about putting green in their pocket.
The guy is a troll of some sort. The vehicle in the pix looks to be a one-off made by some left-handed foreigners high on opiates, never mind the laughable claim of safety and a $6,800 price tag.
Nice catch; our local paper is famous, err infamous for errors like that. Per a Shreveport paper, http://www.shreveporttimes.com/article/20130102/NEWS05/130102010/Former-GM-plant-has-buyer:
You're a little low http://www.ideal4allhobbies.com/Campagna-T-rex-V13R-For-Sale-s/14.htm http://motorcycles.yakaz.com/t-rex-for-sale#lo=4&docid=000fn9mr098pr1lk http://www.auto123.com/en/used-cars/classified/t-rex?make=T-Rex If everything is legit and it is less than 7K. I can see people buying it.
Edging closer to reality... Caddo commission approves purchase of GM plant | NOLA.com ...with just a bit of politics involved.
I got one better than that. Better on gas, better for the environment, better in terms of price...better better better... Image Unavailable, Please Login

excited for this toy, & for this price I figured why not. Can't wait woo hoo Image Unavailable, Please Login
My step-dad lives in the area and is something like #18 on the wait list....he ordered one within a day or two of when they were available in "Razorback Red" (he's a big Arkansas fan). He has gone on a tour or two of the facilities, and says it looks for real as best as he can tell, but who knows. Seems like a fun little run-around vehicle for a small town or tight urban environment. At the price, seems hard to go too wrong. Still, I think I prefer my 3-Wheelers in the Morgan flavor. I hope I'm wrong but I'm getting a strong "Twentieth Century Motor Car Corporation" vibe from this. 1974 Twentieth Century Dale | Hemmings Motor News
Wow, that list is up to ~ 11K... ...per the News section of the site, Elio Motors: Ultra High Mileage Car. As a Louisiana resident I thank you for supporting Shreveport's economy. Did you do it for the shirt or the bumper sticker? Elio Motors Image Unavailable, Please Login
Problem is Government regulations to mass produce a vehicle like this.. Key to success for them is to sell a turn key minus kit to bypass the idiotic DOT crap rules..
Since it will be licensed as a motorcycle, I believe most of that will be non issue. Reminds me a lot of the Pulse I used to own, which got close to 100mpg w/ the stock motor. Image Unavailable, Please Login
