    recieved my 430 challenge hotwheels elite today and i am really pleased with it, especially the interior, and the paint finish is exquisite....

    even if their web site is pants, they make descent products!!

    it looks as though the "sliders" in the windows work... is that correct?

    If so, Hotwheels, why the hell don't they work on my Elite FXX models!?!?

    no its just a clever moulding they have done. its all one solid piece.

    the ones dont work on my ultra elite FXX so dont despair!!!

    Interesting looking without the decals. How did you get them off. I might want to try some other decals on mine. I must say that I'm very disappointed that Mattel will only be making other versions of the challenge cars. I really wanted to see them make some of the GT 2 cars with wings etc. The GT 2 cars are kicking butt in europe in the FIA racing and should do well at Lemans this year. This is the time when we will see them dominate most of the racing and Mattel was too lazy to bother changing body panels and adding wing. This is really a shame. The RSV, Scuderia Ecosse, and Giesse cars as well as the Riesse Competition from Ferrari of Houston in ALMS and other cars also, they are blowing a great opportunity to show history. I must admit though they did a very good job on the 430 challenge elite and also the 599. I like them both very much.-Bob

    This one I doubt it is a Super Elite Verson, I have compared my original F430 Challenge Elite, it comes with alot carbon decal inside and out and more photoetch than original F430 Challenge Elite........

    I just bought the "Super" Elite version of the 430 challenge from Replicarz. So now I have both mid-grade elite 430 challenge version which I'm taking of the decals off and the "Super" elite, in the collection now. Yes... the "Super" elite version is quite exspensive but oh well... "Got to have it"
