    So I just got my Elite Mattel Ferrari Challenge Stradale. Nice model when I compare it to my regular Mattel Ferrari Challenge Stradale. But within moments I notice they made a pretty stupid mistake. They added a clutch pedal to the CS. Of course not only does the CS not have a clutch pedal, the regular edition doesn't either. Wonder who was asleep at the job on this one.

    I don't wanna be picky, but man Hotwheels are slacking with their new Elites. No more Hotwheels for me.

    What do I do....Well there's AutoArt, KYOSHO, Minichamps, BBR's etc...... After all the price of an Elite is almost the same price of a new release AutoArt.

    Yup I agree, recession folks. So if your model is supposed to be paddle shifted automatic and it has a clutch pedal, just cut it.

    No way! Hopefully they'll figure it out, correct the mistake, do a mass recall, and then I'll really have a collector item!

    Don't kid yourself. Even BBR's have been slipping on details and quality lately. Some of their models are missing BIG details. Others are relatively accurate. I have seen one BBR model that had the complete WRONG interior!! How the hell do you miss that???? The model car in question was a replica of one at the Pebble Beach concours a few years back. The car in the concours had grey interior. The one BBR made, had Tan!! WTF??
    This is sad considering the price you pay for them.... But, you can save yourself the heart-ache\wallet-ache by taking a little closer look at them before you buy.... :D
