    Hello,

I just purchased the ELM 327 WiFi Interface. I plugged it in on my 06 430 F1 and read the error codes and it says I have no Trouble Codes, No Last Chance Codes and No Permanent Codes. All appears clear howerer my service engine light remains on. Should I select "Clear DTCs". Any advice ???

The normal source of the engine check light is the exhaust system, do you have an after market exhaust fitted.
You can reset the check light and see if it comes back on. Or you can turn the power switch off in the front compartment, if you dont have the switch handle then a T40 tork key will fit. Give it 5 mins and put back on, see if it clears.
If it comes back then time to think about getting it looked at or it may be your reader is not good enough to read all ferrari codes. Most readers only read 1 of the 2 ECUs and not the gearbox

Did you check both ECUs? There are also codes the Elm can not read. I would get it read by someone with an SD. Clearing the codes just masks a potential problem and gives it time to get worse.

Found it, I think. P0128 - Coolant Thermostat - Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature. Either the coolant level is low or I have a bad Thermostat
