102 whp, and that was AFTER optimizing my timing. Something is wrong. The left exhaust tip (front bank) is REALLY lean, like 17.5:1 The right exhaust tip (rear bank) is nice 14.5-12.5:1 depending on RPM. So it looks like my front carburetors have some issues. Any guesses? Thanks, Aaron
Need more info on the car. Nothing in your profile! Most 308s have a single muffler so the tips should have the same mixture. Do you have a true dual exhaust? Birdman
Yeah, at idle my stock muffler would actually draw air in one side, but would both flow at higher load/rpm. You probably have air mixing. Check you plugs, they never lie. You may not have all your cylinder running either. A mis will make an O2 sensor read lean. Again, check the plugs.
Sorry I haven't filled out my profile yet. It's a 78 308. I think the exhaust is aftermarket, but haven't seen any like it. It's routed like this, except there are small crossover's between the mufflers. Aaron Image Unavailable, Please Login
