    Well I sandblasted and painted my airbox and also mounted the emblem on it. Despite popular belief in the tacky or tastefull thread i'm very happy with how it came out. Here's a pic.

    i like it too. but i usually toss the stock airbox in the corner and run seperate air cleaners.

    nice work. :)

    I agree it looks good, but I also have removed my box, it sounds fab all that sucking noise!

    Thanks for the positive response. Next weekend I'll be taking alot of stuff to get powder coated. I'm probably going to take my carbs off and get them cleaned. I had the trumpets done and they make the rest of the carb look really bad. I'm also going to order new red plug wires today!! I'll post pics as soon as I have them.

    I like it! I presume that's an ashtray sized emblem like are offerred on eBay?

    I actually bought one of each a ashtray, 3", and 4.5". The one I went with is the 3". The ashtray is just too small and the 4.5 way too big.
