    Dear all,

    Happy 4th of July.

I have a question on emergency brake shoes, seems that there are two possible part numbers available being 170701 (until car assy. no. 30750) and 178382.

I was wondering if my assembly number is 24004 should I order 170701? Will the 178382 part simply not work? Also do I order four shoes? Are they applicable in bothe left and right sides?

    Thanks in advance

    FX

Yes, I just did mine. Assembly # 24493 and I got the 170701. Get 4 there is no left and right it just flips the opposite way for the other half. I don't know if the others could be made to work I did want to have to worry about them not working.

Have you taken your rotors off yet and seen if that's all you will need? I was hoping to get my e-brake adjusted and working when I did my pads and rotors. What I found was horrible. When I finally got the rotor pulled off I found the little pin and spring bolt things that hold the pads in place were broke off and rolling around the pad metal parts were cocked over and grinding away. I had to drill and easy out the little screws from the hub. If you haven't looked you might want to so you can get it all done in one shot. I had to put mine back together with no e-brake parts in there until my parts got here then tear it all apart again.
