What type of jacks do you carry for emergency use on the road ? I really need to retire my original one. The only reference I have found here is Corbani using a Honda scissor jack. Anyone know what it may have been out of ? I was thinking a bottle jack might be more space efficient. Mark
Mark I would personally buy [and use] a scissor jack, much more stable than a bottle jack. The dino jack frightened the life out of me when i used it once, it was retired to the boot and has stayed there ever since!!
In modern times with cell phones and roadside assistance from auto clubs I see carrying a jack and spare in a fun car as excessive. Just another perspective to approach it from. That said I would invest in a nice garage jack for home use.
