    I would have to check to verify the specific configuration, but it sure looks like the EWC that I have in the glove box of my series II 1983 400i. Fortunately, I've never had to use it.

    Thanks John. I had a 400i a few years ago and I think this is the same as the crank that came with that car. Would be interesting to know what other cars it might fit. Can you tell me what the helical gear w/spring clip is for?

    That must be why Daytonas sell for so much more money than a 400i! :)

    Now there is another one advertised but fits a 246 ??????

    must be 3 X $ if it fits a 246 !!

    Anyone, show me a shred of evidence this is correct for 246
