    Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to do a teardown/rebuild on my carbs to address the accelerator pump issues. I'm going through Pierce's catalog and am a little confused about the part I need. The carbs currently have F36s installed, which I believe are stock. Here is a picture of the tube as removed:

When I go on the Pierce site, the photo looks very different:

    Is that the right part?

On a related note, Pierce only has six in stock. Is there another source that I should try?

    Thank you!

    E

Not an F36 for DCNF. I think it is for DCOE. No need to replace emulsion tubes as part of rebuild unless they are damaged. I had to replace one due to a crack where jet was installed. The jet kept sliding out.

I was unable to get the damn jets off the tubes, so we're looking for some replacements.

Call Pierce Manifolds and ask for F36 for DCNF. They have the wrong photo on their webpage. Has been for a long time.

I was asking them for verification and that's the part they showed me. They also said they only had six tubes.

    Is there another source?

I do a lot with carbs ... but for Alfa Romeo. At first glance I would say that there is a Weber Emulsion tube F36.. and a dellorto (no F and 4 or six numbers on it)

Send a photo to Pierce Manifold and tell them this is what you need

@gte619n I bought (8) F36 emulsion tubes (for the 40 DCNF's) from David at Pierce earlier this year (apologies if I wiped-out their inventory)
Like mentioned, if your current e-tubes are okay for your desired tune, no need to replace (mine had F27's)
Here's an eBay seller who appears to have >10 F36 tubes available, Alfa1750 (no affiliation)
Good luck and let us know how your tune works out...
