    So I was on the parkway this morning and I come up behind this ford focus whos grandma driving in the left lane at 60 mph. I pull up behind him and flash for him to let me pass. He does nothing. I pull to the right and as soon as he sees me do this he floors it (I could hear him with my window open). Given I didnt even take my car out of 6th gear I totally beat him to the left lane. I am way past him and eventually he catches up to me with traffic. He yells to me, "Hey Im a cop and shows me this dinky badge (I still think it was a fake)." And I yell back, "You were speeding too!" Hes like, "I can speed, I am a cop!" Then he took the exit.

    WTF gives him the right to speed. Good thing I embarrassed him in 6th gear. I cant believe some people, the fact that he was going under the speed limit in the left lane, and then he gets upset at me!

    Yeah plus he looked like a ******r too, sunglasses, spiked hair, & arm hanging out the side of his car like he was bad ass.

    Yeah, why couldn't we have gotten one like this (or better yet like the other thread where the guy got stopped for 130 and then let go!!!)

    for real, same **** happened to me last weds. Coming back from Atlantic City from a conference, a silver Lexus GS is on my ass the whole way out trying to pace me. So finally after 3 miles of this I drop gears and just take off. About a mile down he finally catches up to me, flies into the middle lane and shows a badge and says slow down. Well, being young and a minority driving a m3 i usually keep my mouth shut to cops. But anyway, same ****, and then he takes off ahead of me, probably going 100 cause i was cruising at 85

    yeah but the damage on my car from that could have been worth more than his car:) I do that sometime when I know the guy can pay for it.

    My friend did this a few nights ago because some dude was tailgating him for no reason with his brights on. The gun pulled along side and flashed him his glock. Things could have gotten ugly but lucky that the encounter ended with no incident. True story as others on this forum can verify.

    That's when you call it in to 911......"Driver at such 'n such a location license plate xxx-yyy driving a zzzzz colored car brandishing a gun".

    The ensuing melay and inconvenience will be more than payback.

    Couldn't agree more... PUNKS who flash guns at people should be arrested on the spot, IMO. Don't get me wrong -- I'm not an "anti-gun" person (nor am I card-carrying NRA), but that kind of sh*t just pisses me off.

    yeah if I had saw the gun, def would have hit 911 asap. Thats just stupid. Also not an anti-gun person, but do have a gun license (I love going to the range!)

    you mentioned that the badge was "dinky"...around here spouses and children of cops can get these little replica badges...they work like pba cards only better...if it ever happens again, call him on it and try to get the badge number...the pd looks very dimly on police impersonators...

    yeah it was like that. I know someone who works for the EPA and he had a bigger badge than this loser. I actually started to laugh when he showed me his badge, which probably pissed him off more.
