    Here ya go:

Dave "Beaky" Sims, Team Manager for Risi (in Red), and Danny Sullivan (remember him?) in shades.

    Cheers

Okay, call me thick....what is the punch line? Are they arguing? Discussing the weather? Sullivan certainly seems like he sided with Enge over the Mid-Ohio interaction, at least on-camera, if I recall correctly. But you say this pic was pre-race, so they couldn't be arguing over that...

Was the rubbing at Sebring when they were close with the FL GT3RSR? Because I remember that well and it was indeed that rubbing that won them the race, yet no penalty was enacted. I used to favor the Risi team, but I'm begining to question my allegiance.

Um what was Danny on? He seemed rather 'tight' as a pit reporter. Though he did seem to enjoy telling Enge what Salo had said about him...

Yes, that was the rubbing. The Risi car with Melo driving, as was clarified above; battling the FL car on the final lap, and in the final sprint to the finish.

Those Risi drivers are not the cleanest racers. I feel sorry for Enge. Salo knew Enge was on probation, and could have played rough to take advantage.

Jamie had NO brakes at the end of the race - he holding his line. We were there at Sebring and we saw the cars come across the line.

Joe - are you going to Road America? we'll be there late Friday morning - we're doing the Audi thing there.

C'mon guys, you had to see it coming.

I had my doubts about this match from the get go. Everyone knows Enge is very fast, but he also has a reputation for making mistakes. And PWL wins championships by consistency, hard work, and knowing when to settle for a finish rather than insist on attempting to win every race at all costs.

Year in and year out the PWL crew has gone to the wall to get cars to the finish, resulting in their stellar record in GT racing. But this year, their record is dismal. Yes, some of it has been bad luck. But Lime Rock was totally unnecessary, and there was no excuse for the bump at Mid-Ohio. After Lime Rock I joked with my Porsche friends that Enge now has a factory drive...for Porsche :) . And that brings us to the reason Enge had to go. Ferrari had a lock on the GT2 Mfr. title until Enge's antics derailed a season long Ferrari win streak and now threatens to hand the driver, team, and manufacturer's championships to Porsche and FL. Taking nothing from the Lizards, absent Tomas we would most likely still have an unbroken string of victories for the 430.

    Cheers
