This beautifuly illustrates why I SERIOULYS have my doubts. This is just great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMUxnSvq4UM&mode=related&search= Then someone is gonna try and tell me she is gonna adjust the shift linkage. BUWAHahahahahahaha.
Id of killed to see the look on the guys face at PEP BOYS when you asked for some chrome parts for your ferrari!! Uhh OOO how about a rad cap!!!! Sweet huh. I think we have some chrome air freshners in isle 3..
I replaced the black license plate frame on my black 355 spyder with a chrome "CAL POLY SLO" license plate frame. I think it looks just fine. So far no one has complained. But then again I am pure Sicilian, own a concrete plant, and a boat...... I am new here too. I can't wait until I ask a question that becomes the foundation of a dog pile. To each his (or her) own.......
Things we must know... 1)Is Ferrari Girl really a girl? 2)Can we find a chrome air box? 3)Can we match toe nail polish w/rossocorsa? 4)Does Ferrari Girl smoke a cigarette afterwards, or use WD40 before? STAY TUNED, AS THE MESSAGE BOARD TURNS.
It's moments like this that make me soooo ashamed to be a female. WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!! (or not thinking)!!
I got the solution...FGirl you fly out to L.A. for a vacation. You finish up Ernie's gearbox sitting at my house that he has been taking months to finish. That will shut his pie hole. Ernie and I are married so you can hang out with Plugzit. You can pick his brain for more 348 details and He can take you to all the hot single spots. I'll take pictures as proof of your ability and willingness to tear deep into ferrari territory that few men will tread. After you finish the gearbox the brotherhood will have to line up to kiss your A$$. I'm sure this would never happen but it sure would be fun.
Doubt it would stop Ernie. He's having to much fun. Anyway, thanks for the invite but I am going back to my alma mata, the H school for med school and have to prepare. Keeping my 348 and not selling. Will store while in school.
When you get out let me know...I got a great suite for you in sunny so cal. Be a doc, get a tan, drive your Ferrari 365 days out of the year. It does not get much better than that!
Toula Portokalos: [narrating] My dad believed in two things: That Greeks should educate non Greeks about being Greek and every ailment from psoriasis to poison ivy can be cured with Windex.
That could have happend to anyone with all those distractions, backseat drivers everywhere. Not to mention it was probably their first time in that environment. Yes, I am making excuses because they are "hot", and NO it has not happened to me. LOL
I suppose this is the point where you want me to piss and moan about how wrong you are....and if it were your personal 355 that was driven into a SUV you wouldn't be making the same comment. Sorry, I can not argue that point. I don't know how you react to certain 'unusual' situations. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Besides, if you could bush something like that off your sholder without getting upset in the least I commend you! You have some amazing self control. Anyways, you're right; that giant black SUV popped out of nowhere, how could she possibly have miss it?! Could have happenend to anyone...I drive Ferraris into large solid objects all the time! When did they put that 20 ft. telephone poll there? giggle giggle P.S. Even her girlfriends were shocked at her stupidity!
yes she screwed up, however there are a couple of mitigating facts.... First time driving a Ferrari.....shouldnt be too intimidating, but who knows what cars she's used to driving The 355 in question was Left hand drive......the first time you go from Right to Left you tend to get your perception of where the corners of the car are screwed up ......it was a glancing blow on the far corner of the car........had it been right hand dive the accident wouldnt have happened and it wouldnt be talked about on Fchat
Valid point andrew. Right or left hand you still should respect a Ferrari, and be aware of your surroundings when driving. Especially when it is not your Ferrari. Just my opinion. Besides, I do feel for her...I couldn't imagine how she felt after the fact.
I thought about the LH/RH drive swap too. The guys letting her drive the car in that environment could have taken extra precautions. Stepping her up to a Ferrari after a couple of tail spins etc. was not a smart move on their part. People have different judgment levels when not in their normal environment. I personally made the mistake of allowing some "good" friends the opportunity to drive my Porsche TT. As if not learning my lesson from the first incident, where my friend tried to do a hard launch and roasted the clutch. The second was when another friend miscalculated how steep a dip was and scraped the spoiler pretty bad. Both times I should have known that my "good" friends had very little if any experience with the characteristics of these types of cars. In summation both times above I took responsibillity for the results, as I was the one with the knowledge of the environment. Kind of like taking a kid to an amusement park, they are dazzled by the stimulation....and I am hosting. Wow, I was rambling too long. With all respect to scuderiachictech's comment's, I guess there are a host of ways to respond to the unfortunate turn of events in that video. But the real bad guy is that guy that totaled that enzo on PCH.....
