It actually feels pretty sturdy and heavy. Welded all around with no open end. It came unpainted or just primed only. So, if I choose to install it, I have to paint it first. For now, I will just keep it as spare or maybe sell it in the near future. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I did construction work for years, never think a piece of wood is straight! It my be very close, but not perfect. If anything get a 4 ft level and try again, not exact but close. Even if it is bent the little that you show in the pictures, it really wouldn't be enough to be concerned with.
It's not really bent. It has a dent towards the middle. I'm assuming someone attempted to use it as a lift point and realized it's not strong enough. I have OCD... I want it perfect... If you don't mind, how much was it?
Hi I found this. T-WEST | ???? | TWS | Body Parts | ??????????????????? This is for 355, but seems compatibles for 344.
For a thousand bucks? I think I could have someone fab up one in aluminum or better for less. Not billet, but strong enough.
Its a simple metric steel tube 20x50 mm thin wall, easy as heck to make. I just bought a new one as I am lazy
Harbor fright has a cross bar for most floor jacks $39.00 it is adjustable and you can lift your car from both ends of that cross bar.
Yeah - But then you don't get to be members of the bent cross-member club! (Thanks to a previous owner/servicing garage, I qualify for membership to the club! )
