    hi ,on the 400s do both fans come on or only one? its seems that only my right passenger side one turns on while the car is hot but the center one doesnt..is it normal?? or can i make both of them turn on?? any help would be great@@ thxs again, kerim

    I think both fans should be on . Check your fuses to see if they are blown and then check the connection by giving it a little twist.

    Turn the A/C to "on". Then both should run.

    There are 3 radiator fans. 2 in front of the radiator and one behind it.
    2 should be running when the engine begins to get hot the 3rd runs when the a/c is on.
    When the engine gets very warm all 3 will run.

    If one of your front fans quit (which they are famous for doing) it is a Lucas part from an early XKE and will runn over $200.
