    i went for a drive after changing my oil to get it up to temp to check, got home, pull latch release and nothing! Rear latch cable problem? What do I do? As usual, thanks.

    Emergency cable is under the gas flap. Main latch cable may have stretched

    if all else fails, take out the screw on the latch and PULL. Then you will need to adjust the latch.

    if you're lucky its stretched, if your unlucky like me, Mine seized...the cable stuck inside the plastic/rubber sheathing...as stated by others, you can get in through the gas flap fortunately for the time being.
    Dealer wanted $500 to replace.

    Cable alone is around $150ish fyi. Good luck!
