Anyone know a source for the approx. 1 cm. round metal spring clips that press onto the posts of the Ferrari emblem?
    Thanks

    Phillip,
If you just need the 3 that hold the emblem on the engine lid i'll send them to you. I got tired of trying to wax around the letters so i took the emblem off and as you know you usually ruin them getting them off.So i went on a search for them and found them from a Bowman (Barnes Distribution) rep and he ordered me a bag,i believe of 10 (body shop supplies) and of course i used 3.If you haven't taken yours off yet be careful not to loose the little rubber gasket that goes on first to seal it to the deck lid.Anyway, drop me a pm and i'll find my spares.

Interesting (at least for me) I found that there are some retainers used on S.U. carburators that work perfectly. They're about half the size of a dime they have a center hole and some cuts that allow the hole to expand if you are applying to a tapered pin

For one time use, the factory part looks like the way to go, BUT if you even think you might want to remove the part, the speed nut is the way to go - twist on clockwise and remove counterclockwise and you are much less likely to snap off the pot metal mounting stud.
