Hi Need some help here. I ordered new engine mounts (pads) for my 360. Think its the same on the 430. As I understand Ferrari 360 upgraded the mount at some time. I ordered new pads at Eurospares UK. Part number 46 on the part diagram. I received the pad but no washer 76. I wrote Eurospares and they say that the washer is no longer necessary. And that it was the old solution. Can that be right? Isn't the hole idea that the rubber is sandwiched between the engine and washer? Regards Carl Frederik Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

ALL 360 engine mounts are assembly number specific. Additionally, 360 and F430 engine mounts are not interchangeable. So essentially, if you need an engine mount for your 360, you need your assembly number for proper fitment. Lastly, the washer should always be supplied as it is an integral wear item on the engine. To put it simply: if you purchase the correct engine mount, regardless of assembly number, the washer will come with it.
I thought it was the transmission mount that has the most problems and has been upgraded to the 430 version.
Seriously not trying to take over the thread OP You're partially right. Yes there were problems with the trans mount but they didn't change it to an F430 version, at least not entirely. The part number has been superseded so that ALL assembly numbers use an upgraded mount. All 360's now use trans mount part #186698. The F430 USED to use part #186698 (the same as a 360) but has since been changed to a #237531. Now this is where it gets confusing: you can use the 237531 for both F430 and 360. When part #186698 is exhausted, I WOULD ASSUME, all F430's and 360's would then use only the 237531.
